Tim Harrison is back in the second installment of the series. He is now years away from his problems in Whipping Post. Driving between Texas and California, he’s still fighting the demons in though his head from the murder of a family member.
 
When a fellow trucker is murdered, Harrison  becomes involved in tracking down the killers, against his better judgement. He has other things, like possibly a new love life, on his mind.
